HELLP Syndrome :

Differential diagnosis of HELLP syndrome:
Several conditions mirror HELLP syndrome.
 Timing of illness and findings may assist in differentiating HELLP syndrome from other diseases.

1.Thrombotic coagulopathies :
-Hemolytic uremic syndrome
-Thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura
-Drug-induced hemolytic anemia
-Sepsis
-DIC (Dissiminated intravascular coagulation)

2.Consumptive disorders:
-AFLP (Acute fatty liver of pregnancy)
-Sepsis
-DIC
-Abruptio placentae
-Amniotic fluid embolism

3.Miscellaneous:
-Systemic lupus erythamatosis
-Antiphospholipid syndrome
-Cholecystitis
-Appendicitis etc.
