Hysterosalpingography or hysterosalpinogram (HSG), also known as uterosalpingography, is a radiologic procedure done by using dye to investigate the shape of the uterine cavity and the shape and patency of the fallopian tubes. It is usually done in infertility cases during 7th to 9th day of menstrual cycle.
