If case of PCOD(poly cystic ovary disease) cases which are not respond to medical therapy, surgery is recommended.
Ovarian drilling to rupture the cysts is the usual recommend surgery.
This can be done by open method and laparoscopically.
In laparoscopic surgery, trauma will be less and post-operative recovery will be fast.
During surgery, chromotubation with methylene blue should be done to verify the patency of the fallopian tubes.
